Ep. 1 Cross: When a young man, John Willis, is found crucified, Jack investigates and finds out that the dead man’s brother, Rory, was responsible for the death of Nora Mitchell. The surviving members of the Mitchell family are in town - and looking for revenge. At the same time Jack gains a new assistant in Darragh, Kate’s cousin from London, while Kate herself harbours a lethal secret. Ep. 2 Headstone: Jack is asked to locate a former nemesis, Ronan Meyers, who has been kidnapped and held for ransom. It’s a race against time, and during the investigation Jack crosses paths with a rival private eye, tough-as-nails Mason. At the same time Jack must support Kate as she prepares for a major operation. Meanwhile, Darragh comes into his own as Jack’s new assistant. Ep. 3 Purgatory: Jack and Darragh are hired by the head of a large software company to find out who has stolen valuable games data from the company. Jack takes an instinctive liking to the main suspect, a young woman, Skyler. When she is killed Jack suspects her employer and vows to bring him down. Meanwhile, much to Jack’s annoyance, Kate - recovering from the operation - begins a relationship with an old schoolmate, Anthony Bradford-Hemple.
